Pastor Foss was born and raised in El Centro, CA.
He graduated from Central Union High in 1982 and attended Imperial Valley College and then graduated from San Diego State University. He served in the US Air Force from 1988 to 1991 and then worked as a real estate appraiser for the next 10 years. During that time he served for 5 years as a deacon for El Centro First Assembly. Michael received his ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God in September of 2001 and became Youth Pastor at El Centro A/G in February of 2002. In June of 2007 he was elected as Senior Pastor of Blythe First Assembly.
Michael and Michele were married in November of 1986 and have a daughter, Brittani who is 24 and married to Aaron Abubo both of whom graduated from Vanguard University in 2008, and a son, Michael Brandon, 21, who is married to Heather from Sydney, Australia, met while attending Hillsong College.
